Umdloti rests on Africa‘s KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, hugged by the Indian Ocean, a quiet escape, a long stretch of holiday resorts and homes, restaurants, bed and breakfasts. Stunning views but the nugget of gold here, is the Community.
Spirited and passionate about nature and animals, hospitable and warm, the residents are passionate about their upkeep of the little getaway.
Be warned though, the welcome mat may be pulled away if the animals are harmed in any way, such is their care for the vervet monkeys, furry friends and concern about overfishing.
Smiles, towels and footprints are welcome!

I really love this set of photos. The colour of the sky. Especially the featured photo, like nothing I have seen, and I have seen some sunsets! Its always nice to know there are still things to be experienced in this life!

You have an abundance of Love in you. Every photo emits “YOU”. Thank you so much. I am a little curious about the object out on the horizon that there and nicely lite at night. Is that a ship or another place for dreams?

John, I have my own stash of feel good photos. Hundreds of Umdloti because its my favorite spot. This however is taken by a resident of I Umdloti, a caring and good man, Mr Clive Noble. He gets to see magnificence daily as compared to
my weekend pleasures.
