About Kavita…

I’m Kavita.

Welcome to my blog in the land of Sunshiny South Africa.

I am a wife of one, mother of two and “pet Mom” to 5. … also a full time employee with Architects + Engineering Consultants, part time Consultant to AMC Cookware, hobbyist, traveller, culinary creator and poet.

My days are full to brimming, in fact, I will say that “my cup runneth over”. Rich in an amazing family, I AM too blessed to be stressed.

Realising that life is too short to NOT do the things we love, I have taken the plunge to become socially friendlier with my trusty keyboard.

  2. Following Mark Twain’s advice; “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover, acquire new friends and gain knowledge of yourself and the world.” Mark Twain

Look forward to sharing thoughts as time goes by… 😉

    • Hello again,

Like you, I have so many stories, my husband shakes his head too!
Like you, I love my dogs but my labs have passed on. We rescued kitties and they have become my family. You know that feeling when family have dispersed and changed even though they are here in this world and a short distance away geographically? So, yes, I keep my kids, kitties and cockatiels close as I do the things I love. Am so looking forward to resuming my travels. Next year is the year. I look forward to catching up on your travels as well. Kind regards from Kavita, Sunshiny South Africa.

      • It is a pity when your pets leave so soon. I always wish dogs could come with a life cycle as long as their humans’. It is a wise thing to keep the beings you love always close to the heart – ’tis the best feeling in this world. Incomparable.
Amen to your travel plans 🙂
