Brett Owens from South Africa stole hearts yesterday for good reason. Not so long ago, Russell O’ Grady made headlines after he retired from McDonalds.
Differently abled children are being appreciated for themselves and their contribution to society.
Did you know that the baby food company Gerber, has finally changed their trademark sketch of a baby in favour of a handsome baby with Down Syndrome?
Exciting times ahead for the Warren family as their precious baby, Lucas Warren was chosen for his infectious smile and laugh.
Seems Mom entered the Gerber contest on a whim and little Lucas was chosen from over 140,000 entries as the face and smile of Gerber.
Dad Jason Warren said, “We’re hoping this will impact everyone — that it will shed a little bit of light on the special needs community and help more individuals with special needs be accepted and not limited,” dad Jason Warren said. “They have the potential to change the world, just like everybody else.”
This is the way forward, recognition and acceptance for our blessings to specially blessed parents.

Gerber’s intention and message are lovely! The old iconic baby face is classic but it’s also a good time to update it with a meaningful symbol. Nice write-up!
