I had a lemon tree. It was given to me by my ex. It was just about the only thing I was sad to leave behind. In the last season it was attacked by some nasty waspy type thing. It had these bulges everywhere. I had hacked right back to try to save it. It had seemed somehow symbolic. I don’t know whether I saved it. If I have the fruit now belongs with somebody else.

I planted one just before i posted this. I was at a crossroads emotionally. I like watching him grow. He may be a lemon but it will be sweet for me. 🌻
