Thought for the day…

Thought for the day…

“Highly sensitive people are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods. To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become dysfunctional and emotionally disabled. There is no shame in expressing your authentic feelings. Those who are at times described as being a ‘hot mess’ or having ‘too many issues’ are the very fabric of what keeps the dream alive for a more caring, humane world. Never be ashamed to let your tears shine a light in this world.”

  1. If you find something and it strikes a note, then you are attuned to that which needs attention. You have the ability to put it all into perspective and will be a better person for it. Keep the journey of finding the “New You:. Keep exploring the real you.

    • HI Lauren,
Im glad this spoke to you.
It resonates with me. Somedays, I am too harsh on myself and its good to know that we can celebrate who we are.
PS, Please see the Covid Risks post that I put up today. Share to loved ones if need be, we need to know the dangers that lurks out there.
      I send warm regards, Kavita

      • I have those days, too, Kavitha. Age is irrelevant. 🙂 Thank you for that chart; I’ll share. My family and I have avoided any public place, except the grocery store, and even those trips are once a week now. My husband and I both have been working, but we’re both in unique jobs with a few people, easy to social distance and stay safe. Risking anything else isn’t worth it. 🧡

      • Oh, I hope you’re okay. My daughter and son-in-law had symptoms a week ago and were tested just to be sure. They’re still waiting for results but are now feeling much better. It’s scary. Take care of yourself. xo
