Exciting news! An award!
Valerie Cullers has nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award because she says “I bring Sunshine into the lives of others with my blog posts!”

I have loved all my interaction with Valerie Cullers. Val is a writer, speaker and author from Idaho and is currently working on a historical romance (which I anticipate reading). Head on over to her site and see why we love her.

l. Museum or Movie?
Museum for sure!

2. Favorite Author and why?
Nora Roberts. Love her, Life is tough enough as it is and some escapism into the romantic and historical realm is desperately needed!

3. Favorite Music Group?
Right now, One Direction. No judging please 🙂 Mother of two here, I’ve inherited my daughter’s playlist and this song rings in my head…

Gerald Durrell’s, My Family and Other Animals.
Enough said.

5. Do you write because you want to or because you have to?
I Want To. I Need To.
Besides, its way cheaper than therapy.

6. Why did you start blogging?
To give voice to the voiceless, the abused and to provide hope and inspiration against the seemingly insurmountable odds.

7. If you could live at any other time in history, when would it be and why?
I prefer now, in the moment thank you. Basic creature comforts, I need that.

8. What is your favorite place to visit?
My late Aunt’s kitchen, the Mother of My Heart. For the love, the cookies, the Indian savouries, coffee, conversation. Mostly for the LOVE and her hugs. Hate, Hate, Hate Cancer. Ugh.

9. Favorite Quote?

Library.

11. What famous person do you admire most and why?
Mother Theresa,
In her words, her organization would care for “the hungry, the naked, the homeless, the crippled, the blind, the lepers, all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are shunned by everyone”
