Racism be Gone!

Its said that…
God created us in his image.
To belittle and undermine,
Taunt and torture,
That is not the way forward.
Out, out that damned spot!
Fan not those flames.
Spread them not into waves.
Racism is racism not through birth,
But bred and fostered.
Cast out that serpent.
Let this African garden heal and nourish,
Best yet flourish.
Let this African soil not weep tears already wept.
Let those tears by brethen shed
not be in vain.
Cry not the Beloved Country.
This rainbow nation, we must mould, carve, echo.
Our differences to unite.
Be gone hatred and seething anger.
Let us forge ahead.
Therein lies the road to be led.

  1. There must needs be differences and dichotomies when it comes to expression and communication. As much as this is true, the differences among us are not there to delineate the worth of a soul. One soul is as valued as another, no matter which colour it is painted. The races all came from a single seed, and to that seed all souls will no doubt return. There is no value in fighting over the differences in the meantime.

  2. Racist people just piss me off!😒 Can’t tolerate them… Have you read Shakespearean drama? All references of fair being beautiful… I’m just like duh? How does it even matter? According to most historians, life started in Africa with dark complexioned people! Now you tell me! Thank you for this post💞 Respect people for who they are… Spread love💜

    • I read Shakespearean works and yes I get what you say …lots of references to fair and bold etc.
      Racism is upsetting.
Choosing fair over dark is also upsetting.
We are all created in Gods image… We need to be able to be tolerant of each other and live in peace and harmony.
